The kiddos got to open some early Christmas gifts...
We also had our Burke family Christmas party the same day, so we went straight from Nick and Rachael's house to my Aunt Nancy's house in Portland. We had such a great time! What a wonderful day filled with lots of love and good times with family :)
A couple of days after our family parties, we had another Christmas celebration with our good friends, The Leighs. Emily treated us to a yummy homemade pizza dinner and we just had a fun time hanging out, playing and watching the kids open presents.
The day before Christmas Eve, the kids and I drove up to Olympia to spend the day with the Burke family. We were so bummed that Scott couldn't come with us, but he wasn't able to get away from work. It wasn't the same without him, but we still had a special Christmas celebration with Gramps, Oma and Kai :)
We are so blessed to have such a large, loving family that live close enough to celebrate the holidays with. We love these long-standing traditions of getting together with extended family and it's especially special being able to share these traditions with Tycen and Shaylie!
