Christmas Party

We had our annual Haij/Geist family Christmas party at Elizabeth's ALF this year. We had a great time catching up with the Geists, sharing a nice meal together, watching the kids sing/dance and open gifts. The room was perfect as it was most convenient for Elizabeth (at 92 years of age!) and also had enough space for the kids to run around and burn some energy without having too much stuff they could get into.

The kids' entertainment before opening presents...playing with Elizabeth's walker:

Tyce and Shay received a lot of great gifts:

This musical jewelry box was a huge hit for Shaylie. She loves to play with my jewelry box at home, so I think she really liked having one of her own filled with lots of bracelets and hair clips. I used to have a jewelry box just like it when I was younger; when you open the top a little ballerina pops up and spins in circles to 'Swan Lake.'

Gracie styled Shaylie's hair:

Thank you hugs:

Tyce has never seen Charlie Brown before, but he liked this life-size poster of him. He kept saying, 'Hi Charlie' and turning around to give him a high-five :)
