In the past few days they've been giving each other a kiss before bedtime. It is so adorable and just melts our heart! They continue to play well along side each other and are being more gentle with one another overall. They take/share toys pretty well most of the time, but occasionally will get upset when one will take a toy they were happily playing with.

Tycen's new discoveries this past month:
*He can take about 5 steps in a row all by himself!
*He can stand for a long time without holding on to anything
*He can move from sitting to standing without pulling up on another object
*He now mostly crawls on his hands/knees (vs. commando crawling)
*He gives kisses when asked and likes to kiss his mommy when underneath the mistletoe :)
*He can blow kisses
*He consistently signs: more, all done, hello/goodbye, milk, thank-you, change diaper and occasionally signs dog, airplane, food/eat, daddy
*As mentioned in another post, he is quite the climber and can climb up and over the couch!
*He loves to roll and throw balls
*New words he can say: mama, dada, yeah, car, sh (for shoe) and dog
*Drinks water from a sippie cup easily
*Feeds himself with fingers easily, but still prefers to be fed. He's also starting to use a spoon.

Shaylie's new discoveries this past month:
*She is now WALKING!!! She still likes to crawl, too, but can now walk all over the place. She can also stand up from sitting without using support.
*She really likes to sign: more, milk, all done, play, daddy, night-night, food/eat, hello/good-bye, dog, change diaper, please and thank-you
*She can blow kisses
*She loves to say 'Hi' and is very friendly when we go out to the store she will wave and say 'Hi' to all the strangers
*She can also say: all done, dog, mama, dada
*Drinks from a sippie cup easily
*Prefers to eat with hands/fingers and is also getting good at feeding herself with a spoon
*Still loves to be held and play with mommy/daddy or grandma(s)
*She will bring books to me and wave her hands in the air which means, 'read me the book, please'

Both Tycen and Shaylie still love to dance and listen to music. They LOVE silliness and laughing. They have the most genuine and hearty laugh I have ever heard. They are very excitable and love it when you get excited for them. They also love to clap for themselves and each other.
I know I say this all the time, but I'm just completely amazed with how much joy our kids bring to our lives every day. We praise the Lord for health, love and laughter this Christmas Season! They are truly the greatest Christmas gifts we could ever imagine!!
