Tycen weighs 17 lbs 3 oz and is 28 inches tall. The day we traveled back from S. Oregon we noticed his first two teeth poking through!! Here are some pictures taken this past month:
Tycen is SUCH an active guy and loves to be moving and playing at all times. He is now commando crawling and can get around pretty quickly! We realize that we are going to have to baby proof our house sooner than later.
Shaylie weighs 15 lbs 11 oz and is 26.25 inches tall. She is such a sweetheart! Here are some recent pictures:
As you can see, she's pretty mellow and content sitting in place (especially if she has something nearby to put into her mouth). When she does want to move around, she prefers to roll to get from one place to another.
As they begin to show their personalities more and more, I decided it'd be a good idea to write down some of their favorite things to do so I could remember each stage of their life better.
Tycen's favorite things at 10 months old:
*Sucking his left thumb
*Pulling hair (see below)
*Laughing at daddy, especially when he's getting tired
*Kicking his legs
*Lying on tummy and doing the "belly swim" (arching his back and quickly kicking arms/legs)
*Being on his tummy and moving around
*Silly sounds/noises
*Playing with tags/straps
*Putting things in his mouth
*Nursing! and being with mommy
*Making panting sounds like a puppy
*Turning musical toys on/off
*Sleeping on tummy with his knees tucked under his hips and his tooshie in the air while sucking his thumb
*Cuddling before going down to sleep
*Water bottles
*Milk bottle caps
*Being thrown in air above head
*Playing piano
Shaylie's favorite things at 10 months old:
*Binkies
*Swiping Tycen's binky (see below)
*Knocking on things
*Banging blocks and objects onto things to hear the sound it makes
*Putting things in mouth
*Eating (solids and breastmilk)
*Sitting in place
*Her angel lovie doll
*Rattles/things that make noise when she moves them
*Puffing out her cheeks and blowing with her lips together
*Making high pitched girlie squealing sounds
*Listening to mommy sing 'You are My Sunshine'
*Being with mommy or daddy
*Being silly
*Laughing at mommy and daddy being silly
*Being held
*Being tickled
*Taking socks, shoes and her hats off
*Splashing water in the bathtub
Praise God for blessing us with such wonderful babies!! They have brought us more joy than we ever thought possible these past 10 months. We love you more than words, Tyce (Bubboo) and Shay Shay(Bunny)!!
