Here are some things she was doing around her first birthday:
*Says, "Dit-a-doo" (peek-a-boo)
*September 10, 2013: Lyssie took her first steps!!! 2 steps and then 1 step! :)
*Says: "all done", "thank you", "bye", "hi", "mimi" (milk)
*Signs: all done, please, thank you, milk
*Started screaming/screeching very loudly (teething? keeping up with siblings to be heard? likes the loud sound she can make?) … not super pleasant ;P
*Gets really sad when mommy leaves the room
*Wants mommy when she's tired, big time mama's girl
*Started pointing
*Climbed the stairs at the park
*Climbed stairs at home and took 6 steps (September 27th)
*September 28: officially started walking, she still prefers crawling but tries to walk and can walk across a small room!! :)
*Can feed herself with a fork (after some help getting food on the fork)
*October 1: Prefers walking, walks all over a large room!!
