Tyce weighs 18 lbs, 12 oz and is 29 inches tall. He still loves all his favorite things listed at 10 months of age, but has discovered new favorites, as well:
*Laughs every time (and I mean, every time!) we say, "tweet"
*Pulling himself up to stand
*Crawling all over the house (he still is mostly commando crawling)
*Playing with the door stopper (loves it, but is still just a little scared of it)
*Climbing
*Crawling over legs and Shaylie
*Seeing new people in public areas (while being held)-- he gets a huge grin, laughs and kicks his legs and waves his arms
*Playing with all the objects in the house that aren't a toy (i.e. wires/cords, stereo speakers, fireplace, etc)
Tycen can now understand the word 'gentle' and even though he still likes to pull Shaylie's hair and pinch my arms, he knows to stop when I tell him 'gentle' and has been less feisty overall. I'm almost certain he can say, "all done" and repeats after me when I say it. He is also our all-star sleeper and is still taking two naps during the day and sleeps 12-13 hours at night!
Shay Shay weighs 16 lbs, 14 oz and is 27.25" tall. She, too, still loves everything she did at 10 months but has newly found favorites, as well:
*Scrunching her nose while breathing out of it (this is the cutest thing ever, she probably does this at least 20 times per day and it makes me laugh every time!)
*Looking at herself in the mirror
*Pushing herself up on hands/knees and rocking (she is getting very close to crawling)
*Pulling up to stand
*Sticking out her tongue
*Nighttime prayers (she always gets a big smile on her face when I start to say our prayers before bed)
*Pinching faces, neck/chest (really hard!), she hasn't quite gotten the 'gentle' concept down

Shaylie is now starting to point at things. She also just started doing the milk sign, but doesn't do it intentionally yet. She is also increasingly getting separation anxiety when she is tired or around other people she really wants her mommy to hold her. Shaylie is also still taking two naps during the day and was sleeping through the night, but in the past couple of weeks she's been getting up 1-2 times per night. We hope she kicks this habit very soon!
Aside from all their favorites listed above, Tycen and Shaylie really love to be with one another. They love to see eachother for the first time in the morning. Watching them interact is just too cute for words!

Some of the things they both love are:
*Objects or people being moved close to and far from them quickly
*Watching videos of themselves
*Animal sounds
*Our dog, Sydney
*Playing in their kiddie pool
They are also both making all kinds of babbling sounds (although we don't think they make them intentionally, yet): dada (both their favorite), baba, mama ...
They're now eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and I'm still making most of their food. Here's what they've enjoyed so far: zucchini, summer squash, carrots, peas, green beans, avocado, sweet potatoes, brown rice cereal, beets, bananas, yams, applesauce (sometimes with cinnamin), broccoli, peaches, barley teething biscuits, blueberries, oatmeal, and kiwi.
Only one more month until our sweet angels are 1 year old! We cannot believe how fast time is going. We love you, Buggy and Bunny!! You'll always be our babies!
