Words can't express how fortunate I feel to be able to stay home with them and watch them grow. As you can see, Shaylie is now sitting on her own. Tycen is probably pretty close, but he's such an active guy that he has a really hard time sitting still (just ask anyone that has held him!). He always wants to be moving and discovering new things. He's able to push himself up onto his knees and forearms and then pike onto his toes and scoot around. Here they are learning to count to 100 :) As you can see, Shaylie is sitting and Tyce is getting a little help from grandma's leg.
Both of them have the most adorable laugh, it's music to our ears. I could hear their laugh all day everyday for the rest of my life. I just LOVE it :)
We went to the doctor yesterday for a check-up. They both gained over 1 1/2 lbs last month. Tycen now weighs 16 lbs, 4 oz is 27.5 inches tall. Shaylie weighs 14 lbs, 7.5 oz and is 25.75 inches tall. It's not too much surprise because they sure do love eating solids...they're now having squash, zucchini, carrots, peas and the latest, avocado. Yum, yum!
