We met Gramps and Kai for lunch in Olympia on our way up to Seattle:
We went straight to the aquarium when we arrived in Seattle:
The octopus was pretty amazing:
After the aquarium, we walked around the waterfront for a bit. Tyce and Shay spotted a carousel in one of the buildings nearby and so we took them on a 'horsey ride' before heading toward our hotel in Bellevue.
After we checked in to our hotel and had dinner, we went to visit my good friend, Kate, and her family who live in the Seattle area:
Kate and I played volleyball together at CWU and were roommates for 2 years. I miss her so much and really wish we lived closer!

We woke up bright and early the next morning, enjoyed a nice buffet breakfast and then went to the swimming pool:

After we checked out of our hotel, we headed to downtown Seattle to go to the kids' first Mariner's game:
We fed the kids lunch and watched the game at our seats until about the 5th inning when we decided it was time to walk around and check the rest of the stadium out.

Tyce and Shay's first trip to Seattle was so much fun...these are memories we will never forget!
